The second season of the original online variety show “Youth With You” will air on iQiyi on March 12.

The TV program gathers more than 100 show business trainees from 46 of the nation’s entertainment agencies. It plans to give a new interpretation of youth, dream and team spirit. It will also provide an insight into the daily lives and hardship of the young idols.

Music producer Cai Xukun, singer Ella Chen and rap singer JONY J have been invited to share their expertise and experience with the trainees.

The second season of the variety show also focusses on China’s flourishing girl bands.

New innovative technologies such as augmented reality and artificial intelligence are incorporated into the show to present a more immersive viewing experience for the audience.

The first season of the online variety show debuted in 2019 and witnessed a new boy band, UNINE, who received critical acclaim from audiences in South Korea, Japan and Thailand.

Later this year the show will develop a series of spin-offs, including cartoons, youth novels and online games for the global market.
